When you are up against strong competition you don’t have to be limited to what you know

Part of the philosophy of Intelligent Engineering is to constantly seek out and implement best practice. The interesting thing is you don’t have to be limited to your industry’s best practice. You don’t have to stick to what you are used to or even the industry that you are part of. In fact you can often out-manoeuvre your competition by taking on-board a process or way of working that has been proven successful in an entirely different market.

Many sectors follow Aerospace and Automotive (including Advanced Motor Sport). It’s a hot bed of new materials, processes, and social interactivity that is constantly pushing technology providers to add more value to their products and services. The key to incremental improvement is to look for and track innovation wherever it is evident. It’s just as useful to keep abreast of developments in High Tech, Biotech and Consumer Goods as they develop new products and process to raise their game.

Working cross industry gives Intelligent Engineering providers access to innovation from a world of product and service suppliers. Many practices are easily transferable and the benefits of a tried and tested system start from day one. It’s fair to say that by approaching PLM as a smorgasbord of delicacies rather than set meal you are very likely to have a much more satisfying experience.
